Tio Harold’s main tick is his schedule. He always needs to be present in it, or else it creates anxiety and frustration in him. Part of his schedule is to always grab a snack at 9:30 and go to sleep. We find our hero ready to finish his day of heroics to return to his bedroom and sleep. At least in his mind.
It’s time to go to sleep.
Grab your snack so you can eat by 9:30.
Just sit down and relax.
Turn off the T.V.
You’ve been watching it for hours.
It’s getting late, so please just turn off the T.V.
and say goodnight to your family.
We’ve been out here for hours
by the Christmas tree.
The world outside your room is big.
If you give it a chance and let it in…
But first go to sleep.
You ate your snack, and it is well past 9:30
so lay down and relax.
Sink back into your dreams.
They’ll comfort you as you ease in tomorrow,
just close your eyes and fall asleep.

a beautiful record that brought me through literally the worst moments of my entire life. while dealing with entirely different situations, this album helped me see the other side of the things I was going through. the blame, the pain, the destruction, all brought on by the actions of one broken human, unto his friends and family. it made me realize the importance of life and how people care about me. it helped me realize I don't need some girl to be whole and happy. fuck that. I need the people that really love me. my own actions could hurt so many others. thank you christian, thank you the hotelier. we love you more than we can explain and we miss you. there are people out there right now, alive, who might not be if this record didn't exist. your music has saved people. it certainly helped save me.
