Here we find our hero, Harold, as a young boy of elementary school to middle school age waiting for his sister to pick him up when he suddenly gets jumped by a couple of kids. Story goes, my mom went by his school to pick him up and saw him on the floor crying. She’s a tough lady, even as a kid, so she went up to him and said, “Who did this? Tell me who did this.” So he pointed to the group of kids who beat him up, and my mom went over to them and beat the shit out of them.

Just inspiring combination of emo-jazz in its purest form. Lyrically it goes over interesting ideas of multiculturalism, parental issues and generational trauma in some of the best ways I've heard in a while. All of the instrumental sections are just beautiful and both singers are outstanding. My favorite moments are probably the almost-yelling section halfway through "I'm From Here" and the horn sections on "Quirk". PeterA
